Anonymous Grave (2015)
Battery powered maneki-neko ceramic cats, bell, dead rats, wild flower seeds, corn seeds, spray paint, red marker on plywood, brass bells, string, bird feathers, paper clips.
Buried and undisclosed plywood tomb containing mechanical cat, rats and seeds. Tomb shaped like an upside down mastaba to amplify the sound of the bell struck by the cat's paw. S t i a n repeatedly scrawled with hieroglyphs on the sides of the tomb. Faint tinkling audible through one foot of dirt.
